Questionnaire Osheaguin maison avec The Gaslight Anthem
The Gaslight Anthem est un groupe punk qui vient du Jersey Shore aux États-Unis (oui, oui, comme dans le show de télé poche avec des ginos), qui sera en spectacle à Osheaga ce week-end. Le guitariste, Alex Rosamilla, répond à notre questionnaire «osheaguin maison».
1. Est-ce qu'il y a une émission de télé dans laquelle tu aimerais jouer et pourquoi?
J'ai pas le câble alors je sais pas vraiment ce que les jeunes écoutent ces temps-ci, mais quand j'étais jeune, je voulais être un Thundercat.
2. Quelle est ta monnaie préférée?
Le Yen. Je suis un grand nippophile.
3. Comment qualifierais-tu la performance sur scène?
Bonne je crois
4. Quel est ton album préféré de Pink Floyd? Si tu n'aimes pas Pink Floyd, explique-moi pourquoi.
Meddle. Je vois vraiment pas comment c'est possible de ne pas aimer Pink Floyd.
5. T'es-tu lavé les cheveux aujourd'hui?
Non, mais je m'en allais justement prendre ma douche.
6. Que lis-tu ces temps-ci?
The Freedom of the Known par Krishnamurti. Je le lis et le relis et, à chaque fois, je découvre quelque chose de nouveau dans le bouquin. J'imagine que je suis un peu hippie.
7. C'est quoi la pire question qu'on t'ai jamais posée? (Outre celles dans cette liste).
Ben non, t'inquiète, j'ai aimé tes questions. J'aime pas les questions à double sens et les journalistes qui tentent de te piéger en posant ces questions. Souvent si tu refuses d'y répondre, ils s'arrangent pour te faire passer pour le pire des cons et en profitent pour se valoriser eux-mêmes à travers l'interview. (Excuse-moi, fallait que ça sorte, mais je déteste ce genre de trucs).
1. Is there a TV show you'd secretly want to be on and why?
I don't have cable, so I'm not really hip to what the kids are into these days, but when I was a kid, I always wanted to be a Thundercat.
2. What's your favorite money currency?
Yen. But I think that may be because I'm a bit of a Japanaphile.
3. Why do you live (wherever it is that you live)?
Funny question actually. It's where my ex wanted to live. She moved out after four days, but I'm still there. I really do like the area I moved to, as well. I've totally grown to love it, and the people. I guess it was a blessig in disguise....
4. How do you rate your live performance ability?
Pretty good.
5. What's your favorite Pink Floyd album?
If you do not appreciate Pink Floyd, tell me why. Meddle. Why would anyone NOT like Pink Flyod?
6. Have you washed your hair today?
No, but I am about to take a shower.
7. What are you reading right now?
This may sound kind of "hippie" but The Freedom of the Known by Krishnamurti. I've been rereading it over and over, its pretty short, but I pick up something different from it everytime I read it.
8. What's the worst question you've been asked?
Other than the ones in this list. Don't sell yourself short. These were fun. The questions I don't like are the one's that try to bait you into sounding like a fool. Problem with those, is when you don't give them any fuel for their fire, the get all whiny and turn it around to make you sound difficult to work with....and make them sound like a giant egotistical bastard by writing an entire interview about how good they are at interviews. (sorry if that's a run-on sentence, I had a lot to get out there....)
